Our Expertise

There have been infinite bloopers in the translation world when companies have tried to cut corners:

  • General Motors' poor translation had them offering a car that "doesn't go" to Central and South America.
  • Clairol mistakenly marketed a curling iron as a "manure stick" to their German market.
  • Electrolux hit the gaffe jackpot with the slogan "nothing sucks like an Electrolux."

Such business missteps aren't just embarrassing - they also represent lost money. Those marketing campaigns became useless and even more money had to be invested to undo the damage.

We routinely translate documents that have significant financial impact for companies, from legal documents to campaign slogans. We know how one mistranslated word can have huge implications for you and your company.

Unfortunately, the translation industry is not regulated in the United States. Anyone claiming to speak two languages may advertise as a translator. That level of competence isn't nearly enough to guarantee our customers' integrity and credibility in a foreign language.

That's why we created our own highly demanding system to ensure accuracy, integrity, and quality in our customers' translations.

Our Process for Superior Translation

With us, you're not simply working with translators - you're getting experts.

Since there is no officially mandated translation standard, we decided to create one of our own - and we have extremely high standards. Through our Quality Control Process, we hold our translation team to the highest standards of quality, precision, and integrity to guarantee accuracy for our customers.

Our translators all possess degrees in translation, which means they've studied exactly how to deliver the right nuance and tone, not just the technically accurate word replacement that can sometimes obscure or completely transform the message you intended.

We begin by evaluating each project so we can assign it a translation team, determining the tone and style you're hoping to achieve in the translation. It would never do, for example, to have a formal document translated in a casual conversational manner - or vice versa.

Our quality control translation process always includes at least three reviews and edits for every document. Casual typos can have grave impact, so we make sure that several qualified translators have a chance to review each document for tone, accuracy, and correct meaning to ensure its effectiveness.

In translation, we don't just follow the industry standards - we invented them.
